ELECTFIT — DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND DATA

You can permanently delete your Electfit account and all associated data at any time. This page explains both ways to do it.

1. DELETE FROM INSIDE THE APP (FASTEST)

Open the Electfit app and go to: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Confirm the prompt and your account, workouts, food logs, body scan photos, measurements, and subscription records are permanently and irrevocably deleted from our active database in a single atomic operation. Encrypted backups may retain a copy for up to 30 days before being overwritten.

2. REQUEST DELETION BY EMAIL

If you no longer have access to the app, email us at support@electfit.app from the email address associated with your Electfit account and include the subject line "Delete my account".

We will:
• Verify the request within 3 business days
• Permanently and irrevocably delete your account, profile, workouts, food logs, body scan photos, measurements, AI-generated meal plans, and progress history from our active database immediately upon verification (encrypted backups may retain copies for up to 30 days before being overwritten)
• Send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete

3. WHAT IS DELETED

The following data is permanently removed:
• Your account (email, name, date of birth, height, weight, goals)
• All workout history and plans
• All food logs and nutrition history
• All body scan photos and AI body composition results
• All measurements and progress photos
• All AI-generated meal plans
• Subscription records (the subscription itself must be cancelled separately in Google Play or Apple Subscriptions to stop auto-renewal)

4. WHAT IS RETAINED

The following limited data may be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes for the period required by applicable law:
• Anonymized purchase records required by tax law (typically 7 years)
• Anonymized aggregate analytics (no personal identifiers)
• Records of any abuse or terms-of-service violations

No retained data will be linked to your identity after deletion.

5. CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

Deleting your account does NOT cancel an active subscription billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. To cancel:
• Google Play: Open Play Store → Profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Electfit → Cancel
• Apple: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Electfit → Cancel
